Where to begin? An amazing show, rich in plot, character development, spectacle, surprises and shock. But Season 8 was a letdown. Major characters resolved in a lackluster and pedestrian ways: Jamie and Cersei died how? That was the best you could do with the Cleganebowl? Character arcs and foreshadowing completely ignored, characters acting inconsistently to reach plot points: did Dany really have to go there?? Bottom Line: a rich tapestry woven over 7 years finished in a knotted and sloppy rush. Disappointing. It is difficult to watch the prior seasons now as now I know most of the mystery, complex character and plot development are thrown away in the end. I am grateful this happened, but disappointed by its conclusion.
