This is an under-appreciated film about the unique journalism of one Washington news bureau reporting on the Bush administration's fake news campaign that the Bush administration succeeded in getting the rest of the Washjington press to swallow in the lead-up to the invasion of Iraq in 2003. The bureau chief, John Walcott, won the I.F. Stone award for leading the reporting and writing and is the center of the film.
