TL;DR
I honestly don't think anyone has the patience to read all of this. I had the patience to write this. Don't buy this. Don't play this, even if someone gifted this to you. The suffering isn't worth the content. Just watch someone's playthrough.
LONG TEXT
This game is made for crazy people and masochists and I am both.
If you're not a hardcore fan, you won't find much enjoyment in this. Even if you are, this game will make you suffer. You will suffer. You will die on the inside.
Do you like grinding? I hope you do! You'll need a godly amount of patience! If you like to 100% clear games, you'll kill lots of time with this! I have 57 hours in this, and I'm so close to 100%. Oh, and hope you save often! Sometimes the game just decides to get stuck and then you lose an hour of progress! The colors hurt my eyes after a while!
Hahahaha Regulus Mines..... All of the big dungeons take so long, and sometimes the solutions are clear but also NOT. Shaula Desert is a good example. Regulus Mines is just pure confusion juice, and yet the solution was so simple. Sometimes the Ai can hit the lever and then you're just stuck in hell.
KOTOBE KOTOBE KOTOBE KOTOBE KOTOBE KOTOBE KOTOBE KOTOBE KOTOBE KOTOBE KOTOBE KOTOBE KOTOBE KOTOBE
I hope you like endless screaming in your ears.
This isn't the most fun to play, but I did love the moments that all the characters had with each other. It was real cute and sweet and just great as a fan of the series. Just watch someone play this. It's so painful. Just... don't.... please... You can play other grinding games that're less painful. I love the series... but this is just a bad game. It feels so empty and unmemorable.
If they focused less on the quantity of side quests and more on the quality of all of the quests and story, this would be perfect. Sure, sometimes the AI just breaks, you have to wait for enemies to come back on screen when you knock them off (takes 20 secs sometimes) the hitboxes are irritating, the bosses aren't too memorable and the big dungeons take 25 minutes to complete unless it's Regulus Mines and you know what to do already, but the game would have been fun if it had memorable side quests. I mean, some are memorable, but for the wrong reason. I'm still mad they didn't put student with old lady face as a side character in this game, but sacrifices must be made.
The end game cutscenes are really nice. They change depending on which character you used to beat the final boss. You need to complete the side quests for that specific character to get those cutscenes though. 100 Pollux coins. Hahahahahahahaahahahhahahahahahahahqhahahahawiwhdosihdoasi
