It’s a big departure for comics and quite frankly it doesn’t give a good reason for why. I was excited to see a comic I knew well played out on the screen. And that’s not what I got. They killed Elliot for basically shock and to divert attention. Which would have been fine if it wasn’t a HUSH movie. I just wish they didn’t try to do this twist ending. It doesn’t even really make sense for Nygma either. I’m really disappointed. But all the way until the ending I was engaged and excited so that’s saving it from being one star alone.
