Although the movie was enjoyable as an excursion from the standard superhero fare, there simply were no likeable characters in the film. Uncle Noah was the only reprieve. There are several good jump scares that I so enjoy. But, they were all predictable. I expected so much from this film but felt short changed. I will watch it again on video, however. And I would like to see more of the story. Hopefully, more time and effort will probably be put into the next film. Not trying to give away any spoilers, but there was a nice set up for a Sequel.
