In Hindi there is a saying " Purane chawal ki khushbu hi alag hoti hai". Roughly it means that Old Rice has a nice small. This is absolutely true with this movie - Unchai. A true family film with many subtle messages for both the generations - Old as well as new. No comments for the superlative performances of Mr. Bachchan, Anupam Kher and Boman Irani. They are stalwarts. Nice to see Sarika after a long gap. A must watch movie with your entire family.

What a wonderful movie. Full marks to Ajay Devgan for a stellar performance both in acting as well as direction. Bachchan sahab is Bachchan sahab. No match. How he is still maintaining such an aura is really remarkable. Rakul Preet Singh had a supporting role which she has justified with honesty. Based on a real incident ( Jet Airways flight 555 from Doha to Cochin Aug. 2015) this is a captivating film and a must watch.

Absolutely useless movie with no head or tail. I could have never imagined that a Bruce Willis movie can be so bad. Better avoid wasting your time on this irrelevant movie.

A powerful movie which justifies it's genre - Horror. The backdrop of a sugarcane field situated in a remote village adds to the mystery and thrill. Nusrat Bharucha and veteran Mita Vashisht have rendered an outstanding performance. The film deserves a 4 star rating due to it's subject - a social menace of female infenticide which has been dealt with required intensity and leaves a powerful impact. Movie has both - a hair raising horror and shock value. Not recommended for weak hearted.

I am a north Indian. I don't know the Tamil language. However, I read in news paper daily about some controversy regarding this film. My knowledge about Tamil cinema is limited to few leading actors but I know that they make some of the best movies in India. I knew that Suriya is a good and popular actor there but since I don't know the language I miss many good Tamil or similar south indian movies. Just out of curiosity I watched this movie since it was dubbed in Hindi. I started watching the movie around 12 am and thought that I will switch off the TV after 15 min. or so to sleep. However, I was totally absorbed and transfixed by the movie and lost my sleep completely. I must confess that I saw a Gem of a movie which deserves a standing ovation. I now realise why there is so much opposition of this film. This film shows a Naked Truth and criminal injustice towards an insignificant strata of our society which is very hard to digest. I salute the makers and the whole team associated with the making of this film for their courage. We need this type of Hard Hitting movies which show Truth and nothing but the Truth. Jai Bhim.

An all in all Rohit Shetty style entertainer. Two major highlights are action sequences and cinematography to support it. It's a fast pace movie and never gets bore despite being long. Just relax and watch it to shake off the covid depression.

A very well directed and inspiring war movie. A must watch.

A very badly directed and edited story. Such a strong star cast but totally wasted. Now a days small stories with small actors are made so beautifully on OTT platforms. A total waste of resources.

A very poor copy of the famous and successful series LOST. It is no where near that. An unusual and boring plot. Some performances are good though. Watch it if you have nothing else to do.
