Jon is BACK, networks be damned. His classic wit works flawlessly alongside some particularly heavy topics. Clearly he has free reign over content, and he takes full advantage of it with the seriousness it takes in the 2nd half of most episodes.

Clunky, confusing mess. Lightning quick flurries of exposition mixes with seemingly random emotions. Very few of the motivations are justified or held any weight. Still not really sure why anything needed to happen but it looked nice i guess. I could imagine a better experience at a theatre than at home for this one as the gravity of situations wasn't there at my home viewing

The characters spend more time on narrating their typing and inner dialogue than the writer's spent on this script. Must have the same amount of dialogue writers as Charlie Chaplin.

Mario party turns....lucky-based The major changes make the party game mostly luck based compared to the previous versions (10 coins for a star?! Stars within 5 spaces of other stars?! Buying mushroom is 3 coins?!) Mini games are way more basic than before. Teamwork is rewarded..... awkwardly Meh. Disappointed at the franchises move. Honestly is do boring and not worth playing with it being a zero skill game now.

First game in requesting a refund for. This is not an RPG it's a puzzler with platforms... This is just "okay". I'm a little disappointed I got my hopes up for what is another so-so switch version of a classic series (I'll never buy another Mario party after the childish garbage of the switch version). About 4 hrs in, and I'm growing quite tired of the battle system already (more of a "puzzle" than tactical battle with (so far) no partners). Also, I get it's Nintendo but there's absolutely no "discover" factor....everything is said/laid out in excruciatingly long and lengthy phrasing. Wish I could skip all the Toads talking... That's about 1/2 that g That being said the level design is really nice and bright... but it is confusingly not the feel of past great paper games I'll likely not complete, which is a first for a paper game. Meh.
