First time Suicide Squad watcher or with any of the DC universe movies aside from Joker and a couple of Batman's but this movie was "OK". The plot was fine but then lost me when they tried to do the phase/mission transitions that felt forced. Also some of the humor they tried fell flat for me...I felt for the starfish though, that was sad.

Must see the Spector film from 2015 first to really understand. Not first time watcher friendly. I had no idea what was going on or why Bond had a young "could-be-his-daughter-or-niece" aged girlfriend. I give it a 3 stars cause it wasn't a particularly awful film, it was interesting. Just wished it had more gadgets and didn't rely heavily on the last film. Would I see again? no. Even with subtitles to understand through the accents and mumbled lines? no. What I do wished is that they kept that "nervous new agent" woman in the beginning in the rest of the film. She was badass and carried the first 30 minutes of the movie and then she was gone, never to be heard from again.

Saw it theaters for the 30th anniversary. Saw it when I was a kid decades ago. Very good film what more can I say, it's famous for a reason. My favorite part was the night vision scene at the end. Intense stuff

I guess I'm a sucker for feel good movies but it was super fun to watch and really entertaining. The humor parts were spot on and overall great movie for family.

Great suspense in the beginning until the midway plot happened and then it became really corny. I then realized that Jake Gyllenhaal didn't even shed a tear and didn't feel any seriousness near the end. Broke the immersion. Too bad!

From a non-marvel watcher I had no idea what the hell was going on. I sat in theaters for a solid hour and half to not understand anything. I couldn't understand more than half of what they were saying, which I guess is a personal problem but I feel like this movie relied on previous films that I have no idea about because I don't watch Marvel movies. All I captured was woman that can kickass, sister from another country that can kickass, saves a dude from prison, ...but to do what?? The movie lost me

Even within 10 minutes of the movie, how is the family gonna act like nothing happened. And near the end how is the girlfriend gonna ask "omg what are you doing, what are you doing?" when her boyfriend is literally twisting and contorting his whole body on the ground, seizuring, and rolling around in glass. Bad acting and scripting I'd say lmao

Some Netflix original stuff has some of the corniest and cringiest scripts and plots ever. Saw about 20 minutes of it and its already unwatchable. There's a completely deaf girl but she can still talk with a normal voice? Cringy "witty" lines that try to be comedic end up breaking the suspense. And LMAO when the lady with the baby said "oh no!" when about to be mauled by the creatures.

Have not read book counterpart and feel its not necessary to enjoy a movie. Watched in IMAX and HBO. I thought this movie was badass. The creepy soundtrack was very cool and really set up the atmosphere. I for sure recommend watching on HBO with subtitles to catch the vocabulary as it's harder to watch without. What mumbled gibberish vocabulary i missed in theaters, was captured in HBO and helped me understand everything. Also like to add, ez paycheck for Zendaya. Legit had 2 sentences to say. haha.
