I guess i'm just being salty.
But this movie... was actually ok... before you look into it.
You can watch it more then once I guess? But it ruined Spider-Man.
a good 30% of the scenes were almost pointless, bad villain, little to no consequences of failure.
All peter parker had in this film was good intentions. That's good but it's a super hero movie... He had no dynamic qualities. Just a school kid with average humour, acts stupid, doesn't care about who he saves he just wants pride points.
It's been said loads but he's too dependent. That's not Spider-Man. SPIDERMAN IS INDPENDENT.
What Marvel are trying to do is make peter look up to Tony and feel the need to impress him. But it doesn't work. Tony is mad at him through out the movie, which is a good way to construct Peter as a character... But the fact he is mad at Peter because he's naive, being told what to do as if he is being baby sit is kind of a big issue.
To fix Tom Holland's spider man Tony Stark has to die. but I would rather he failed as a Spider-Man then see a long time super hero that remains deep in our hearts die for a dumb college student to have some emotional value to me.
Tom Holland spider-man can turn to dust again for all I care.
1 last issue...
WHY DOES EVERYONE IN PUBLIC LIKE THIS GUY?
Unlike other Spider-Man adaptations he doesn't interact with anyone in public after saving them. "oh hey I saved you, now tony might appreciate me" no. watch the first 10 mintues of amazing Spider-Man 2, THAT is Spider-Man
