I was a HUGE FAN of the 1st movie. So I went into the 2nd movie with high hopes, but also knowing full well that sequels tend to fall short of the original movie. But, I must say, I found myself laughing frequently throughout the movie. The comic moments were not exactly "great", but very very placed and executed. The "drama" segments were also very well done. I think this movie deserves to perform well at the theaters, but still suffers from 2 main things: 1-the DC purists will harp on every little flaw. 2-Shazam really lacks name recognition for alot of people. At one point Shazam (originally Captain Marvel) was a very popular character. So due to DC promoting its characters such as Superman, and Batman, while neglecting it's other characters, has led to DC playing catch up with Marvel's output. Overall, I would recommend seeing Shazam 2, it's a very movie, and a very good sequel.

Is super long and super boring. Very bad acting and really bad casting. The fight scenes were dull to watch. The opening scene was very lengthy. Overall SKIP IT!!!! The 1994 Mortal Kombat was WAY MORE ENTERTAINING!!!
