Mediocre game, with rubbish servers and an inability to play/invite with friends. Don't bother for consoles, you'll spend 20 minutes button mashing to be let into the servers, to then be met with a blank screen.

This is the first survival game i've played, after becoming a free title on playstation. Played on the PS5, honestly its one of the best games i've ever played. The survival element is pretty soft, but theres so much stuff to craft, with every item bringing something new and interesting to the game. The story, while a bit sporadic, is interesting and keeps you wanting more. The different areas are unique and the vehicles are all great fun to make and use. There are a few glitches and bugs, but nothing game breaking, and the charm of this game makes them irrelevant. Definately recommend.

Probably in my top 10 favourite games, absolute jem. Story is great, main character has depth, graphics are brilliant, but above all the zombie hordes are so much fun to fight against. I know this game had bugs when it launched but i only had 1 minor bug total, and that was with 100% completion. Would definately recommend.

A truely moving story, let down by poor controls, which i found to be a little frustrating at times. It's a great puzzle game, some of them taking some time to crack, i'd recommend not looking online for the answers, as it will shorten this game and remove part of the fun. Would definately recommend for the experience.

I want to start by saying i have never reviewed a game before but i want to warn others so they are aware of what they're potentially looking to buy into (because we've been lied to). I can forgive the bugs and glitches, understandable being a new game (although they have had 8 years to refine this game so not a great start). What i can't forgive is the graphics and resolution. I appreciate this game may not be pushing to be the best in this regard, but we've had better looking games from 2013. On PS5 the resolution is way below 4k, not sure where its at but its garbage. Textures pop in and out all the time, most environmental detail is completely washed. Even NPCs look washed out unless you stand right next to them and even then it isn't great. All the footage you have seen on demo gameplays is missleading and the reality is you are playing a game that isn't finished and optimised poorly. I'd save your money to wait for the next gen upgrades as well as bug fixes, i've uninstalled and wont be touching until they improve it - very dissapointing. I've only given 2 stars because they deserve respect for their amazing marketing campaign that fooled people such as myself. P.S. The story isn't great either, GTA5 is far better.
