UnPlanned is the true story of Abby Johnson. She was passionately committed to helping women first as a volunteer, then an employee, then the director of Planned Parenthood in Bryan, Texas. Then one day after 8 years, she was asked into the procedure room to assist with an ultrasound-guided abortion. WHAT SHE SAW CHANGED EVERYTHING! The abortionist in the movie is played by a former abortionist. Dr. Tony Levatino. He, too, one day actually SAW what he was doing, and it CHANGED EVERYTHING. It is emotionally intense and rated R for the violence of abortion. But it, also, has light moments and inspires hope, gladness and joy at the end.
