Shadow and Bone is an addictive show that is part fantasy adventure, part period drama, part heist film driven by a diverse group of dynamic, easy-to-root-for characters.

Michael Bay has never heard of "less is more". I went into this fully expecting a mindless popcorn movie and even that turned out to be an understatement. And not in a good way.
