I am an atheist I have been watching AE for over a year now. I very much enjoy the use of logical argument to destroy the claims made by callers. I have learned a lot, especially from Matt's approach to dismantling contentious claims. However I am disturbed by his frequent use of the 'f' word which does nothing to improve is rebuttals and in my opinion would disaffect many of his devotees. I would love to introduce my grandkids to the show since it gives excellent examples of how to go about constructing an argument and how it can be analyzed dispassionately, however Matt's use of the 'f' word makes that impossible. (I appreciate it is only a word, but I think we have to have some standards in communication, there are no lack of good words to use in the English/American vocabulary.) There is a great saying, 'don't raise your voice, improve your argument'. I think this can be changed to 'don't use bad language. make use of more powerful English'.
