I tried, I really tried! I really liked the premise of the "what if?" And I love the actor (John Gluck) portraying Christopher/Lucas, and the honesty of his lines. However, after last night's episode, I think I am done. I am a huge fan of "This is Us;" I see "Ordinary Joe" going down the exact same path, and it can be confusing. While Amy's miscarriage is tragic, I didn't understand the connection to the campaign speech. And Jenny's father obviously has a story of his own with Joe, the nurse; that type of conflict is not new. I wish the show well, but I am not going to invest my time traveling down the "rabbit hole" of everyone's backstories.
