Miya Karatsu

I have read quite a few of Colleen's novels and have loved all of them. While she is known for her compelling romances she took a turn with this psychological thriller. This book kept me on the edge of my seat and I couldn't put it down until I knew how it ended. I felt that the added romance between characters was unnecessary and was Colleen reverting to the writing that she was comfortable with, however, the plot and writing of this story more than made up for it.

This is the fastest I have ever read a book. The storyline, the characters, the writing, all of it was just so engaging I could not put it down until I had finished it. I recently had read another of Colleen Hoover's novels (Ugly Love) and can easily say now that she is my favorite author. All her stories touch upon serious topics in which she writes about so beautifully and accurately.

Just finished this book and I still am crying. I haven’t finished a book so quickly, nor have I been moved by a novel like this in I don’t even know how long. It has quite literally everything i look for in a romance novel; passion, heartbreak, sex, love and just so much more. Colleen Hoover is just absolutely incredible when it comes to making readers feel something and I’m about to buy more of her books now!
