Intelligent, quirky and unusual rom com (not my favorite genre) the gets high marks for interesting characters, unconventional plot twists and outstanding acting. Kudos to Rebecca Miller for a clever script that has a few good belly laughs, but more significantly some characters that have some of the wackiest qualities in recent rom com history. I found it very entertaining.

A movie for kids or for gamers. Weak plot, stilted, cardboard dialogue, average acting at best. Not a complete waste, but there are so many better things to watch for two hours.

Solid acting from Mads and Vanessa, and overall pretty entertaining... in a graphic novel sort of way.

Fun start to an exciting and action packed sci-fi series. However production quality, and in particular the lighting effects, often lack sensible design. Kudos to those who saw enough in this film to make the next two. It makes for an engaging trilogy, where the first movie was easily the weakest.
