I think it looks great but it's kinda predictable and boring. I've never read the books but its overly dramatic with no real depth. Lyra is supposed to be so important but she just ends up seeming unbelievably courageous in the face of scary talking bears and the mother who is introduced like a dangerous villain turns out to be powerless and boring. It also feels like they're telling too many stories with no explanation. it's weird.
