It totally surprised me in a positive way. I am a foreigner.. yet could identify/recognize. I realize the stress I caused appearing one day in my Chinese wife's life...family.... my friends thought the Chinese family would be happy to welcome a foreigner in the family.... but it was the contrary... Respect for my wife and her family...to resist all pressure/ prejudice...let love prevail and accept me.
