I gave four stars for the first season, The second season I would give two stars. First season started strong and had a strong finish. Parts of the timeline and plot falter, and nearly fall completely apart in the second season with the introduction of new characters. The new character backstories are not coherent with the first season, and the acting of these characters is much worse. The writing is disjointed in the second season, leaving the viewer wondering how characters are so stupid to forget things. Suddenly someone remembers something that saves the day, which if remembered earlier would not have needed saving. This trope is used too much. The acting leaves a lot to be desired in the second season as lines fall flat and seem forced. The weak, weepy young Druid girl personae makes no sense given her lines and expected actions as a heroine. Bad casting. Given how bad the second season is I am not surprised it was cancelled. Leaving the show's namesake in hell is not the best ending, but I doubt they could have pulled off another season without totally ruining their enterprise. They killed off the best actors.
