Some strong themes coming through here. The acting was very good from all key characters.

Excellent movie that got me hooked the longer I watched it. Thought provoking because it showed that war isn't the only place where you can learn courage.

I found that the plot was completely ridiculous yet intriguing which is why I persevered with it. The action while entertaining seemed to try too hard to mimic that of a Quentin Tarantino movie without the finesse of QT. The American accents except for Radcliffe's were cringy at best. What does that all mean? It has the potential to become a cult movie - no doubt in my mind!

Everything about the movie was classic Taika. The humourous parts of which there are plenty, followed up with some uncomfortable moments where Taika forces us to confront things that we haven't wanted to because they are simply unpleasant. Followed up again by tying everything in a nice bow and leaving us feeling good about the outcome but cleverly ensuring that we will be talking just as much about the darker themes raised long after we've left the theater.
