Seemed like a very high budget show aiming to replace GoT, which kept me going till the end of season 1. Absolutely terrible writing with shallow dialogue where the main characters are bickering half the time in what sounds like a badly made high school drama. So many things just don't add up or where itching to be explored further, but the writers either rushed through them or were too lazy. Only the first season has come out but this show appears to be the latest work that joins the list of TV productions that slaughtered the books they were based on. Eragon vibes.
