Hurricane Floyd

Compare to the other marvel movies and it comes up short. It deviates too much from the comic to work and has a lot of continuity issues for later movies. They turned around the Skrulls and Kree and I’ve no idea how her origin story really makes sense. It’s go enough plot holes it would give any big budget movie a flat. Brie can’t float a movie like this on her own. He snarky attitude comes off as forced and annoying as Roscoe P Coltrane. We all know how far those snarky and annoying characters went. I loved her as Envy Adams but as Miss Marvel, no. She just can’t pull it off. It’s like she ready to say something profound but forgot the writers didn’t write anything deep for her. It could because she’s good with shallow personas. Jude Law has a huge day off in this and the double villain doesn’t fit him. He seemed lost in this movie and waiting for someone to call cut so he could go home. The only thing that saves this move was Sam Jackson and Agent Colson. Sam nachos magic no matter how many eyes he has. He brings life to Lawson’s lack of a grasp of character. Thank goodness he’s on film a great deal but too bad he couldn’t play capt marvel. Unfortunately Jackson isn’t enough to enjoy this without someone holding my head at the screen. He’s magic but her plot is slight and her acting insufferable for the most part. Whereas my family and I can watch the other marvel movies over and over this is one we have to do something so we don’t fall asleep. When they did Captain America it was so close to the origin and story line that all the other actors who played cap before said they wished they had made this version. Cmon guys don’t fix it if it’s not broke. Fix the plot, get someone who can do the character justice and remake it please. The cute costumes, special effects and Sam Jackson are good but the movie is based around a spoiled bratitude. Yeah we would have had the same movie if we got an actress from Bratz Can we get a remake?
