I have a lot of problems with this movie, although I liked the main message of body positivity and standing up to bullying their was a lot of not so great messages. One thing was the shaming of women with a scar from having a cesarean. Not cool. Another massive issue I have is with the guy she eventually ended up with. She never displayed any interest in him but the cliche of her getting with him at the end ruined the movie. He was not a good character and being "in love" with someone for 7 years when they constantly tell you they aren't interested isn't cute or sweet. It's creepy and so is opening every day with a pick up line. He also did everything he possibly could to stop her from being with anyone else which is extremely toxic and stalkerish. Besides why can't friends just stay friends? Why is it that the best friend always ends up being the one she chooses to be with? Why can't she choose herself?
