This film, I can tell that the maker wanted it to be fair and balanced. The issue with that is the maker, I don't believe is a believer in Jesus our Christ. There is no way possible for an unbeliever to "understand" what God has for anyone. This film came off more like a warning to anyone who is crazy enough to risk their life for something that some people of the world system know nothing of. They had a guy give his testimony of how he really doesn't know God but he was caught up in the kool-aid of doing what his Christian school brainwashed him to think and do (in essence this is what he said). Then because he had not known the "Truth".... the Creator of all.... when he was questioned by islanders while he was doing mission work, of his faith, he fell apart like a $2 wallet in the swimming pool! He had no answers for them! They were basic questions!!! So, he proceeds to blame Christianity for his divorce, his kids disowning him and his life challenges. Well, in the Bible there is the story of the 7 sons of Skiva... they too tried to do the things of God... without accepting Jesus as their savior (they obviously believed in the name of Jesus) they did nit have the authority that a Believer has and resulted in them getting their butts handed to them.
It is a sad tale of the 24 or 26 year old who lost his life but in my opinion, the kid may have needed to understand the Kingdom of God and the authority on this planet that God has given to every believer before he ran out with zelle to change the world. There are examples of that kind of action in the Bible too.
