I couldn't put this book down...I was shocked, blessed, in tears, and smiling and cheered these characters on to the end! I am sharing this book in my tiny library.

This book kept my interest but made to sympathize with all that they went through...and made me depressed.. Americans were alot stronger back then...could we survive??
Her other books were better.
