Wat a sad situation if an adult dies leaving their little kid(s) behind!
Though Pihu looks around 3-years old but still she’s a kid. It’s the age when the child is unable to read so obviously she was unable to read the name on the phone. Felt really bad for Pihu. But the more I felt bad for Pihu, the more I was getting mad at Pihu’s mom. Listening to Pihu’s dad’s conversation over the phone, it seems like the husband and wife had an argument-cum-fight the entire night on a very idiotic reason: “why was he not their on time for the birthday party?” And then she’s so immature that she committed suicide without thinking about her daughter. I fail to understand why women forget that they’re not only married women but they have kids too. How could a mom be so careless to forget her child and her responsibilities towards that child? And if you’re planning to commit suicide by eating pills, at least clean the house first and think about your child what’s gonna happen to her; who is going to take care of her. Not sure wats the story behind the real mom but this woman seems to be a complete nincompoop.
Also, I don’t understand how could people keep on talking on the phone without realising who is on the other side of the phone? How can they be so brainless?
Such a dirty house surrounded with beer/wine bottles; mop cleaners lying on the floor while phone is lying on the top shelf - I’m sure Pihu’s mom couldn’t have reached it.
The idea of the movie was really sad, however it was too exaggerated. The director kept on trying to create suspense but failed terribly.
And last but not the least, I think it’s really important to have a parent certificate similar to marriage certificate. Just like a marriage certificate indicates the rights and responsibilities of husband and wife, a parent certificate should define the responsibilities of a parent too. Instead of focusing on date nights and having lust obsessions, parents especially mother is responsible for the child(ren). A mother without fulfilling her responsibilities doesn’t deserve to be respected as a mother - she’s just an ordinary woman!
