I feel like l was misled by hulu categorizing it as a comedy... seeing Emma Stone and reading the description that it's about a professor having an affair, l was expecting more of a romantic comedy situation, which it was not. I thought it was good, but it was vague on the timeline of the whole movie and never went into depth of these characters. Like why the main female lead is such a philosophy buff but also a collegate pianist? Does she go on to pursue philosophy after this whole craziness? Why does she end up with this puppy dog guy who we never even got to know? What happens with the woman who left her husband for Abe? Was there an investigation about the ending? What happened to the innocent man accused of murder? ... like l said, l enjoyed it, but l find it not very thought-out, which is ironic for a movie centered around philosophy.
